Description: Camp We-Ch-Me Lodge is a conveniently located overnight getaway for community groups, businesses or family/social gatherings. Reservation includes the outdoor amphitheater and a large grass area adjacent to the lodge.  It's name (short for "Where Children Meet") pays homage to it's previous existence as a summer camp retreat for the Campfire Girls of the Sierra Nevada. The lodge and lawn area are also available for single-day events such as weddings, retreats, and parties. The facility does not have air conditioning, but does have a heating system.

Camp We-Ch-Me is available mid-May through mid-October, weather permitting.

* 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday 
* 8:00 am to 12:00 am Friday and Saturday

Additional Information:
* Overnight reservations:  check-in 4:00 p.m., check-out 11:00 a.m.
* The Cancellation Policy is in effect when the reservation is made.  Please read the Terms and Conditions before making a reservation
* Reservations can be made one year in advance from the current date.
* Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. 
* Fees are due at the time the reservation is made.
* Some events require a Certificate of Liability insurance that names Washoe County as an additional insured.  Contact Park Reservations staff for requirements.
* Alcohol is not permitted at any reservable facility unless permitted through a Facility-Use Permit.
* After Hours: Hourly events that go past 5:00 p.m. require after hours staffing. Contact Reservation Staff at 775-823-6501 no less than 30 days prior to the event. This requirement does not apply to overnight reservations. 
* Reserved hours must include your set up and clean up, as well as deliveries and pickups. Groups are required to bring their own basic cleaning supplies, such as a vacuum, brooms, household cleaners, etc.   
* Vendor trucks are not allowed in the park without prior authorization.  If you would like your event catered by a vendor truck, please contact Park Reservations for rules and regulations. 
* Occupancy of one person minimum is required through the duration of hourly and overnight reservations. Items cannot be stored unattended overnight inside or outside of the lodge.
* Music, or any amplified sound, is not permitted in outside facilities.  All exterior doors must remain closed to prevent the wildlife from entering.
* No open flames permitted (floating candles, candles, tiki torches or other open flame articles. This also includes sterno or other flame-based heating appliances used in catering)
* No tape, tacks, 3M strips or nails can be used for decorations.
* No piñatas, glitter, confetti, rice, rose petals, birdseed, or water balloons permitted. Well behaved pets are permitted on the outside grounds on-leash; Owners are responsible for cleanup. Pets are not permitted within the buildings
* All Washoe County buildings are non-smoking facilities.
* Your group is responsible for knowing and adhering to all Washoe County Park rules.

**Parking is permitted within marked parking spaces only. Camp WeChMe has a designated parking area with approximately 22 spaces, as well as a bus turn-around area below the lodge. Additional parking is available in the main parking areas below. Parking availability cannot be guarranteed due to other events that may be occurring in the park during your event. A parking plan that includes drop-off and pick-up is recommended. Weekday Overnight Lodge Use
**Effective February 1, 2023**
$800.00/night minimum- Includes Grand Room, restrooms, kitchen, top floor bunk rooms (6) and exterior grounds. Bunk rooms on the bottom floor can be added for $60.00 per additional room - Maximum of 94 people overnight. A minimum of one person must stay with the building if reserved overnight.
$550.00 refundable cleaning/security deposit

Weekend Overnight Use
**Effective February 1, 2023**
$1500.00/night minimum- Includes Grand Room, restrooms, kitchen, one (1) bunk room and exterior grounds.
Bunk rooms on the bottom floor can be added for $60.00 per additional room - Maximum of 94 people overnight. A minimum of one person must stay with the building if reserved overnight.
$120 Kitchen
$550.00 refundable cleaning/security deposit

Single Day Use (lodge and exterior grounds) - Maximum of 150 people

Weekday 2 hour minimum $130.00/hour
Weekend 2 hour minimum $170.00/hour
Includes Grand Room, restrooms and exterior grounds. Individual bunk rooms can be added for use during hourly events for $60 each/event. 
Kitchen: $120.00/event
$550.00 refundable cleaning/security deposit

**Use of the kitchen for events that are open to the public requires one full time Certified Food Protection Manager onsite and they should have a Certified Food Protection Manager photo ID card from the Washoe County Health Department. A copy of the certificate must be on file with Park Administration. Not required for private parties and events.

Facility After Hours Fee: $30/hr after 5:00pm (hourly reservations only).
