Neighborhood Meetings

In Washoe County neighborhood, professional and public feedback is gathered prior to an applicant submitting for a development land application.

Neighborhood Meetings

Prior to official submission of a development project to Washoe County Planning, community feedback is gathering through neighborhood meetings. The purpose of the neighborhood development meetings is to integrate community feedback into project plans before they are submitted to the County for approval

Residents within a certain range of the project notified by the applicant by mail and all residents may see upcoming project meetings on the neighborhood schedule. Applicants are required to respond to resident questions and include both the questions and responses in land applications.

Questions about which project types require a neighborhood meeting? Check out the handy flowchart on the applicant host site or contact the Planning Program at Planning@washoecounty.gov or 775-328-6100
