New STR fees go into effect July 1, 2024
The Board of County Commissioners adopted a new fee schedule for short-term rental applications. These will go into effect July 1, 2024. View the new fee schedule.
Updated Deadline for Short Term Rental Administrative Permit (Tier II) Applications
Previously, Short Term Rental Administrative Permit (Tier II) applications were accepted on a rolling basis. Moving forward, these applications will be accepted on the standard intake day - the 8th of each month. If the 8th of the month falls on a non-working day, they will be accepted the next business day.

North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District (NLTFPD) Releases Info on Summer Fire Restriction
Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada | FIRE RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT JUNE 26, 2023
- Absolutely no solid fuel burning is allowed in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada, until further notice.
- Prohibited solid fuels include charcoal and wood. This applies to IVGID parks and beach charcoal grilling areas.
- During Red Flag Warnings, all outdoor open flames, including gas and pellet grills/smokers, are prohibited.
- Check the National Weather Service (NWS) Reno for Red Flag Warnings before engaging in use of fire
