Nevada Farms & Families Pavilions Leghorn & Brahma

Located in the Nevada Farms and Families Area of Rancho San Rafael Regional Park

The Nevada Farms & Families (NFF) area of Rancho San Rafael Park, formally known as the "Great Basin Adventure Area", is accessible from the May Museum parking and contains two beautifully covered picnic areas for reservation. The Leghorn Pavilion is thoroughly shaded and conveniently located next to the restrooms and entrance of the NFF, while the Brahma Pavilion is centrally located and contains a barbecue grill and charming archway over the entrance.

Facility Type: Small Picnic Pavilions

Capacity:  Leghorn – 50  Brahma – 50

Amenities:
* 6 picnic tables at the Leghorn, 4 at the Brahma
* 1 charcoal grill at Brahma Pavilion only. Leghorn does not have a charcoal grill.propane grill can be brought in to either picnic pavilion – no additional charcoal grills permitted.  Grill must remain on the concrete.
* No electricity available (Note: No music or amplified sound permitted in the park)
* Playground
* Restrooms
* Water (no water based activities such as water balloons, dunk tanks, water balloon fights etc. are permitted in the park)

Additional Information:
* The Cancellation Policy is in effect when the reservation is made.  Please read the Terms and Conditions before making a reservation
* Reservations can be made one year in advance from the current date
* Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance 
* Music or any amplified sound is not permitted in the Pavilion
* 1 portable amusement (bounce house) structure permitted – generator required
* Alcohol is not permitted at any reservable facility unless permitted through a Facility Use Permit
* Animals are not permitted in the pavilion
* Balloons permitted but must be anchored down and not popped or released in the park
* No tape, tacks, nails can be used for decorations
* No piñatas, glitter, confetti permitted
* No water games, dunk tanks or other water based activities allowed
* Vendor trucks are not permitted in the park without prior authorization.  If you would like your event catered by a vendor truck please contact Park Reservations for rules and regulations
* Pavilions are reserved to one party per day
* Reserving party is responsible for bringing their own trash bags.  Trash is to be taken to the dumpster
* Your group is responsible for knowing and adhering to all Washoe County Park rules

Reservable Hours:
From 10am to 7pm (Spring & Fall) and 10am to 9pm (Summer)

Facility Use Fee Information:
**Effective February 1, 2023**
$100.00/day
$200.00 refundable cleaning/security deposit
