Washoe county Regional Animal Services is excited to offer affordable spay-neuter services

through our partnership with SPCA of Northern Nevada and the SNYPS Program.

Spaying and neutering pets is important to help mitigate pet over-population in our community.
A spayed/neutered pet will prevent unwanted pregnancies,
and helps your pet live a longer, healthier life.

  • Kittens must be at least 2lbs to be spayed or neutered.
  • Puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to be spayed or neutered.
  • Mothers can be spayed 8 weeks post whelping.
