Washoe County Predevelopment Program is free service to help owners, design professionals and contractors with local government development applications, licenses or permit questions.
Best for complex or major projects with a complete initial design, our experts can help the project team understand missing requirements or considerations just prior to official submission.
Feedback is provided in a virtual, informal meeting where reviewing agencies provide intial observations on a project based on a submitted application and support materials. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month beginning at 1:30 p.m. using zoom as the platform.

The benefit to the project team includes: reducing risk by understanding common errors and missing items; improvement in project application/permit submission quality resulting in a more timely review and fewer conditions/resubmissions; and, clarifying required land entitlement applications, construction and building permits saving money by decreasing the potential for amendments during final project stages of review and approval.
