Washoe County employees can access U.S. board-certified doctors, pediatricians and therapists by phone or video - 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Telemedicine services are provided at $0 co-pay for Surest, PPO, and HDHP participants (Telemedicine does not replace a primary care physician).
It is a convenient and affordable option that allows members to talk to a doctor who can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication, when appropriate, for many medical issues including:
- Sinus problems
- Bronchitis
- Allergies
- Cold and flu
- Respiratory infection
- Ear infection
- Pink eye
