Northern Nevada Continuum of Care (CoC)
Coordinating Housing and Services Across the Region
The Northern Nevada Continuum of Care (CoC), led by Washoe County Housing and Homeless Services, is a collaborative network of local agencies, organizations, and stakeholders focused on ending homelessness in the region. The CoC ensures that programs and services are coordinated, resources are shared efficiently, and all partners are aligned in supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
By bringing together community partners, the CoC strengthens communication, reduces duplication of services, and promotes consistent standards of care. The CoC also helps identify gaps in services, enabling targeted solutions that improve outcomes for residents across Washoe County.
Our Role in Regional Coordination
Collaboration Across Agencies: The CoC fosters partnerships between nonprofits, government agencies, healthcare providers, and housing programs to ensure seamless support for individuals and families.
Resource Alignment: By coordinating services and funding, the CoC maximizes the impact of resources and ensures that critical services are available to those in need.
System Planning and Improvement: The CoC uses data and feedback from partners to develop strategies, set goals, and continuously improve regional responses to homelessness.
Driving Systemic Change
Through collaboration, planning, and shared accountability, the Northern Nevada CoC strengthens the regional homeless response system and ensures individuals and families have access to safe, stable housing and supportive services.
