Francisco Ceballos is the Washoe County Emergency Management Program Coordinator. He works at the Regional Emergency Operations Center (REOC) at 5195 Spectrum Blvd, Reno, NV.

Born and raised in Winnemucca, Francisco moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada. He received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences in 2014. Shortly after graduation, Francisco entered the nonprofit sector and dove right into health initiatives for children and public safety. Francisco has worked with a vast variety of grants over the years from the local to the federal level.  Francisco has previously held credentials as a Child Passenger Safety Technician/Instructor and an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician/Instructor. With his experience in public health and safety and a desire to continue to help his community more, he is an asset to Washoe County Emergency Management.

Francisco is responsible for all Emergency Management and Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) grants and budgetary management.  He serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Washoe County Local Emergency Planning Committee. Francisco represents WCEM in major exercises with state, regional agencies, and jurisdictions. He is a member of the Nevada Emergency Preparedness Association (NEPA) and is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).

When he’s not at work, Francisco enjoys hanging with his wife and 2 Labrador retrievers, freshwater aquariums, plants, spending time with friends and family, and of course- eating sushi.
