Educationally, Dahir holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University, along with a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on conflict resolution, Dahir's academic pursuits align with his extensive practical experience in leadership roles.

Kristopher Dahir has been a city councilman for the City of Sparks for almost 8 yrs, while also serving as the President of the Nevada Christian Institute and acting as the chaplain for the local state veteran's home. With a pastoral background spanning 30 years, Dahir has pastored local Foursquare churches, traveled to over 40 countries leading teams and teaching leadership seminars, and contributed to private Christian education for over two decades. As a professor for eight years at Multnomah University, he taught principled leadership classes.

Reason for seeking position:
Kristopher Dahir is asking for your vote to give him a chance to finish his third and final term as your city councilman. He is running to be a representative for the citizens of Sparks in local issues, state wide needs and federal policies that will continue to bring safety for the families that call Sparks home, a strong economic development and smart growth that leaves the next generation in a better place than we are today. We as a community have many financial uphill battles to climb that will require a person with strong communication skills, strategic planning capabilities and a willingness to work collaboratively to reach important goals. He personally has a strong focus on the veteran community, seniors, youth and those who are struggling. He brings proven and experienced leadership that foundational focuses on integrity and team building. Areas he will continue to focus on:
