What is BallotTrax?

BallotTrax is a free ballot-tracking system for Nevada voters. It is a collaboration between the Nevada Secretary of State Elections Division and BallotTrax, a company that focuses on mail ballot tracking and notification services. The program lets voters track their mail ballots at every step, from when the ballot is sent to them and when it reaches the Washoe County Registrar of Voters' office and is officially counted.

How to Use BallotTrax

To use BallotTrax, voters must register online by providing their name, date of birth, and ZIP code.

After registering, you can select to receive ballot updates via:

  • Text message
  • Email
  • Voice call

You can also adjust your preferences on the website at any time, including changing how alerts are received or setting specific contact hours. With these features, BallotTrax provides transparency and flexibility, making it easier for voters to stay updated on the status of their ballots.

Ballot Information within your Registration

You can also use the Secretary of State's website and view your voter registration information to track the status of your ballot.
