Volunteering at the Arboretum
The Wilbur D. May Arboretum blossoms thanks to hard work and dedications of a passionate crew of employees and volunteers. Reach out if you are interested in joining the team!
Gardening Volunteers
Volunteer days are normally Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning and volunteers are able to work at their own pace as their schedule allows. Volunteer tasks will vary based on the individual's skill level, and periodic trainings on various subjects are offered. Some sample projects include pruning, deadheading, raking, weeding, sweeping, planting, and a variety of other general garden beautification projects. Prior gardening experience required.
