Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Expanding Access to Safe, Affordable Housing

The Affordable Housing Trust Fund provides financial support to increase access to safe, affordable housing throughout Washoe County. The fund supports the development of new affordable housing units, provides rental assistance, and helps residents secure housing that meets their needs.

This program ensures that individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness or housing instability have opportunities to live in safe, stable, and affordable homes.

How We Support Residents

Financial Assistance: The Trust Fund helps eligible residents access rental assistance or subsidies to afford housing that fits their needs.

Affordable Housing Development: Funds are used to expand the local supply of affordable housing, increasing opportunities for residents to secure safe, long-term homes.

Resource Connections: Residents are connected to housing programs, case management, and other community resources to help navigate the process of finding and maintaining housing.

Helping Residents Achieve Housing Stability

The Affordable Housing Trust Fund ensures that individuals and families have access to housing that is safe, affordable, and sustainable. By reducing financial barriers and expanding housing opportunities, the program supports residents in achieving long-term stability and independence.
