Comptroller's Department Administration

The Comptroller's Department was established by state statute, NRS 251.170. As the Chief Fiscal Officer of the County, the Comptroller maintains a complete set of financial records for the County by fund and on a county-wide basis, and accounts for all receipts, disbursements and non-monetary financial transactions. These records are open to the public.  Additionally, the Comptroller is responsible for auditing and paying all claims against the County.
