DUI RANT Appointment Scheduling

All arrestees arrested for a misdemeanor crime involving driving under the influence must be screened by a validated DUI risk tool (DUI RANT) prior to their first court appearance.

Appointments are in person only, unless otherwise granted by the court
You must schedule the DUI RANT before your court date

If you experience difficulty accessing the scheduling page, please come in person to the first floor of Reno Justice Court to schedule the appointment.

What to Expect at Your DUI RANT Appointment

The DUI RANT appointment is a brief screening used to help the court determine appropriate next steps in your case.

During the appointment:

You will answer questions related to substance use, mental health, treatment history, and criminal history
The screening typically takes 30-45 minutes
Appointments are conducted in person, unless otherwise granted by the court

After the appointment:

Results are provided to the court
The court will review the information and determine whether DUI Court or other conditions are appropriate

Please be prepared to arrive on time.

If you miss your appointment, the court will be notified.
