Ranger Walks
Lace up your hiking boots and come get outdoors with a Washoe County Park Ranger! Discover new trails and learn more about your local environment in various Washoe County parks and open space habitats.
If this sounds like fun, here's how you prepare to hit the trail! Bring sun protection, a sturdy pair of shoes, a snack and a bottle of water, and perhaps even your favorite camera.
There will be a maximum of 20 attendees allowed for each hike, and registration opens approximately 30 days in advance. This program is FREE and all ages are welcome, but please leave pets at home.
Walks are generally scheduled beginning in late spring/early summer thru fall. Keep an eye on the Events Calendar for updates!
