Kendall joins the DA’s office from the State of Nevada's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), where she served as a PIO for all of Nevada's mental health programs, including The Nevada Resilience Project and 988. She began her career as a financial reporter in the Bay Area, before working in marketing in Oklahoma when she followed her now-husband to his duty station at Fort Sill, OK. After moving to Nevada in 2015, she spent the next 5 years as a Producer and then Executive Producer for KRNV News 4/ KRXI Fox 11. Kendall has a B.A in Communications Studies from Sonoma State University and various certifications in crisis response through her time with DHHS.
“I’m excited to bring my experience and skills to the amazing team here at the District Attorney’s office,” said Ms. Holcomb. “As the PIO, I believe it’s important to not only continue to maintain transparency for our community, but also provide a more personal understanding of the men and women that work here.”
Effective today, Kendall will be the primary media contact for the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office.
