Reno, Nev. May 29, 2018. Washoe County Parks & Regional Open Space is proud to summon the sweet sounds of music with the 2018 Summer Music Series. The free concert series is open to the community and will be held at Lazy 5 Regional Park every Wednesday night beginning June 6 at 6:30 p.m., running through Aug. 1, 2018.

With amazing local performers from country and bluegrass to jazz and R&B, the whole family is invited to get their groove on:

June 13:   Acoustic, Americana & Pop with “Monique Jade Band”

June 20:   Top 40 Hits of the 60’s to Today by “The Heidi Incident”

June 27:   80’s New Wave Covers with “New Wave Crave”

July 4:       Chart topping hits by Air Force Band of the Golden West “Mobility”

July 11:     Texas Blues, Rock & Soul with “Snakeboy Johnson”

July 18:     Dixieland Jazz by “Chris Wessel’s Jazz Dixie Review”

July 25:     Newgrass & Americana with “Sage Creek”

Aug. 1:      A Musical Variety performed by “Escalade”

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, please bring blankets or low back chairs. Dinner or snacks in small coolers are welcome, plus a local food truck will be available offering food for purchase. Please no pets or glass containers.
