Friends of Child Advocacy Center
The purpose of the Friends of Washoe County CAC is to support the mission of the Washoe County CAC, to ensure the health and safety of abused children in a child-friendly environment for the purpose of minimizing trauma, providing advocacy, and supporting effective investigations and prosecutions.
The Friends of Washoe County CAC will raise funds to support:
- Development of community awareness regarding child abuse
- Staff and volunteer training
- Community resources and services
- Child and non-offending family immediate needs (transportation, food, clothing)
