Position Overview

The Volunteer-Led Peer Support role involves collaborating with staff and community partners to coordinate and, when appropriate, facilitate peer support groups and community-based programs. These programs promote meaningful connections, reduce isolation, and enhance overall well-being among participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with facilitation of peer support groups and community-based programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, participants, and community partners.
  • Accept and apply constructive feedback to improve program quality.

Strengths and Qualifications Needed

  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and perspectives.
  • Interest in community engagement and peer support.

Requirements

  • Experience facilitating groups or leading activities preferred but not required.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to attend required training sessions, which may be held at community partner locations.
