May is Older Americans Month!
In celebration of Older Americans Month this May 2026, Washoe County Senior Services invites you to honor the contributions, wisdom, and vitality of older adults in our community. This year’s observance highlights the importance of connection, engagement, and staying active at every age. Join us in recognizing the value older adults bring to our lives and take part in programs that foster friendships, lifelong learning, and a strong sense of belonging. Connections Central
Washoe County Senior Services is excited to introduce CONNECTIONS Central, a new program designed to help older adults build meaningful friendships and enjoy social engagement. In this welcoming group setting, participants come together to share stories, exchange ideas, and enjoy genuine conversation in a relaxed, supportive environment. Learn more about CONNECTIONS.

 

OnMed CareStation at Reno Senior Center
Have you seen the large box near the stage in the multipurpose room? Washoe County Senior Services now offers the OnMed CareStation, providing free, quick, and private visits with a live healthcare professional: View the OnMed CareStation Flyer

 

Mobile CARE Chest
Mobile CARE Chest visits the Reno Senior Center on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
