Volunteer Position: Home Delivered Meal (HDM) Assistant

Position Overview

The Home Delivered Meal Assistant supports the delivery of meals to homebound individuals aged sixty (60) and over. This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator and Human Services Support Specialist (HSSS). The role requires reliability, confidentiality, and compassion for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

Assist HDM employees with packing and loading volunteer delivery trucks.
Sort and verify that each truck has the correct meals for delivery.
Help with cleanup after deliveries are dispatched.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all aspects of service and recipient information.
