The Reno Senior Center (1155 E. 9th Street), and the Sparks Senior Center (97 Richards Way), will resume normal business hours and activities - 8 a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Congregate meal sites, located at the Sun Valley Senior Center, Lazy 5 Regional Park, and Cold Springs Community Center are open to the public. Hours vary by site.

In-room dining will be available at all Washoe County meal site locations.

To-go meals will continue to be available at all Washoe County meal site locations.

Daybreak (Adult Day Health Care), will continue operations from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Welcome to Washoe County Senior Services! Our vision is “Living Well. Aging Well.” We are here to support you and your families as you get older. You are not alone! Washoe County is one of the fastest aging communities in the United States, Senior Services is committed to helping you get connected, prepared and staying informed.
Washoe County Senior Services is the designated Community Focal Point for all of Washoe County, which means, when it comes to aging issues, we are your starting point. If you are a senior, spouse, son or daughter, caregiver, student, or a friend, there is something here that will help you many times in your lifetime.

Washoe County Senior Services is part of an interconnected service community that is committed to building a higher quality of life for all residents, regardless of age. In doing so, we offer direct and indirect services including senior centers throughout the community, “Meals on Wheels”, legal services, case management, outreach, and an adult day health program.
Finally, Senior Services seeks to be the regional leader in preparing our community as it ages. The Department’s Master Plan for Aging Services is the roadmap, which will guide the enhancement and development of Washoe County’s senior programs and services.
