Extended Care Facility (Nursing Home Assistance)

Supporting Seniors in Long-Term Care

Washoe County Senior Services is dedicated to helping seniors live with dignity, safety, and comfort, even when they require long-term care. The Extended Care Facility Assistance Program is designed to help seniors and individuals in need manage the costs of living in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or skilled nursing facilities.

Long-term care can be overwhelming for families, both emotionally and financially. This program provides essential support so seniors can access quality care without unnecessary stress, while giving families reassurance that their loved ones are in a safe and compassionate environment. By assisting with care costs, the program helps residents focus on their health, well-being, and maintaining connections with family and friends.
