Mail-In Ballot Opt-Out Deadline
Last day to submit request to Opt-Out of receiving a Mail-In Ballot.

Military & Overseas Ballots
Mail-In Ballots must mailed to military and overseas voters no later than 45 days before Election Day.

September 29, 2022
Out-of-State Ballots
Mail-In Ballots must be mailed to out-of-state voters no later than 40 days before Election Day.

October 11, 2022
Close of Standard Registration
Last day to register to vote or update your existing registration by mail, in person, or through an official agency.

October 12-25, 2022
Online Only Extended Standard Registration
Register to vote or update your existing registration online ONLY on the Secretary of State’s website.

October 19, 2022
In-State Ballots
Mail-In Ballots will be mailed to in-state voters no later than 20 days prior to Election Day. Ballots can be mailed approximately 30 days before Election Day.
October 22 - November 4, 2022
Early Voting
Any voter registered in Washoe County may vote at any Early Voting site within the county.

October 26 - November 4, 2022 & November 8, 2022
In Person / Online and Same Day Registration
Register to vote in-person at any Early Voting site or Vote Center on Election Day. Existing voters may update their voter registration. Required to show a valid Nevada ID or Nevada Driver’s license with proof of residency in Washoe County.

November 8, 2022
General Election Day
Vote Centers through the Washoe County will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm for voting in-person or dropping off a mail-in ballot.

November 12, 2022
Last Day to receive Mail-In Ballots
Mail-In Ballots must be postmarked Election Day and received in our office by November 12, 2022 in order to be counted.

November 14, 2022
Cure a challenged Mail-In Ballot
  No later than 5:00 pm on this day to cure a challenged Mail-In Ballot.

November 18, 2022
Canvass of the Vote
The Board of County Commissioners shall meet and canvass the returns of votes.
