Reno, Nev. May 20, 2019. “Programs on the Porch” summer music series at Bowers Mansion is back for the eighth consecutive year. This season features new performances by talented local musicians and even a visit from Mark Twain. A variety of talents will be showcased every Friday night from May 24-June 14 from the porch of the historic Bowers Mansion.
WHAT: “Programs on the Porch” at Bowers Mansion.
WHEN: Performances start every Friday at 7 p.m., from May 24 – June 14.
WHERE: Bowers Mansion at 4005 US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (Washoe Valley).
DETAILS: The performance series is free, however donations are accepted for the performers. Bringing a blanket or low back chair is recommended.
Programs on the Porch performance schedule:
- May 24 – Winter Light (A tribute to Linda Ronstadt)
- May 31 – Dominator & Friends (Ukulele and Guitar)
- June 7 – The Honky Tonk Bums
- June 14 – McAvoy Layne as ‘The Ghost of Mark Twain’

Bowers Mansion Regional Park is located at 4005 Old US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (21 miles south of Reno).
