Reno, Nev. Feb. 20, 2019. The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed changes to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code). The proposed updates focus on easing regulations for placement of cargo containers on rural and residential property.

When: Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Slide Mountain Conference Room at the Washoe County Administration Complex

1001 East Ninth Street, Reno

Building A, Second Floor, West End

 

The workshop will begin with a presentation at 5:30 p.m., followed by Q&A. Attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback at the meeting, or by submitting written comments.

Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is anticipated to occur in spring 2019.
