The National Day of Mourning, former President George H.W. Bush

Reno, Nev. Dec. 4, 2018. The northern Nevada region is uniting with the nation as we honor the legacy and remember the 41st president of the United States of America, George H. W. Bush.

“Washoe County remembers the life and legacy of President George H.W. Bush. In remembrance and per the Presidential Proclamation, all Washoe County flags will be at half-staff for 30 days from the former President’s passing. We recognize the federal offices who will be taking the day to remember and cease operations. Washoe County will remain open to serve our community, however our hearts are with all of those who hold this day in solemnity.”
