Reminder: You are invited to meet with directly with local experts to answer your questions regarding preparations for winter.
Reminder - Upcoming Event: The first series of storms for Northern Nevada is a reminder that it is time to prepare for winter season. Washoe County is hosting a second Winter Preparedness Fair for residents in southern Washoe County. At the fair local experts will be on hand to answer questions regarding snow removal routes, plowing operations and safety, family emergency planning, managing storm water run-off and protecting private property with flood insurance. Make safety and storm preparations a priority this holiday season and join us on December 16.
What: Winter Preparation Fair
Why: A preparedness event for the community to obtain information and resources to ensure they are ready for the upcoming winter season.
Who: Community will have opportunity to meet directly with local experts and staff.
When: December 16, 2017, 10 a.m. to Noon
