Washoe County is looking for your input on signs on public property
Workshop scheduled for Apr. 6
You are invited to a public workshop to discuss the potential to allow signs to be placed on public property that promote the general welfare of the public. The workshop is Apr. 6, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Washoe County Administration Complex. Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 2, 2017.

What: Public Workshop about proposed amendments to Chapter 110 Development Code relating to Article 505 – Signs involving a possible amendment to change the buffering standards for civic electric signs in order to provide for exceptions for placement requirements specifically for governmental entities when the sign promotes the general welfare of the public.
When: Thursday, Apr. 6 from 5 to 6 p.m.
