Reno, Nevada. March 16, 2016. Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks and members of the District Attorney’s Office are taking on the Washoe County Public Defenders on a different court this Sunday.  Teams from the rival offices will play a charity basketball game hosted by the Reno Bighorns to benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

On Sunday, March 20, 2016, The Reno Bighorns will host the Children’s Cancer Classic Basketball Game at the Reno Events Center where District Attorney Hicks and his team will play against the Washoe County Public Defenders for bragging rights.  The charity game is set to begin at 3:00, prior to the regularly scheduled Bighorns game. Tickets for the Children’s Cancer Classic Basketball Game are $20 and include a family-friendly pre-game event, food, and entrance to the Bighorns game. Proceeds benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation

“My team and I are in our own court every day working to protect children and jumped at the chance to support a worthwhile cause while having fun.  I encourage you to attend and support the Foundation in their fight against childhood cancer.” District Attorney Chris Hicks said.
