Internship
Washoe County Department of Juvenile Services offers an internship program in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno. The following University degree programs have contracts with our Department:
- Criminal Justice
- Human Development and Family Studies
- CASAT
- Social Work
Students in their senior year who are interested in completing an internship can contact their University Advisor to determine the necessary qualifications.
All interns are subject to the same background check requirements as employees of Washoe County Juvenile Services.
